What is Mysa HQ?

Mysa HQ is a lightweight, commercial energy management system designed specifically for small-box multi-sites. Unlike most other EMS and building automation systems, we care less about feature complexity and more about providing a solution that’s easy and affordable to scale in order to maximize your return on investment. 

How much does Mysa HQ cost?

The total cost of Mysa HQ depends on several factors, including how many sites you have, site square footage, number of RTUs per site, your control and monitoring requirements, and whether or not you need white-glove installation support. We charge a one time hardware fee, then a recurring monthly fee that covers software upgrades and maintenance, bug fixes, and overhead web hosting costs.

What HVAC systems is Mysa HQ compatible with?

Mysa HQ is compatible with most commercial RTUs (Rooftop package units) as well as ducted heat pumps, fan coil, PTAC, and gas, oil or electric HVAC systems.

How is Mysa HQ installed? Can I do it myself?

While it is technically possible to install Mysa HQ yourself, we recommend using your preferred mechanical contractor, electrician, or technician, or a vetted service provider we recommend. We find our customers get the system up and running much faster and with far fewer headaches this way, making any additional costs well worth it. Either way, we offer a wide range of instruction materials, as well as email or phone support from HVAC experts, if needed.

Can Mysa HQ control more than just thermostats?

We offer a range of wireless sensors that give you the ability to monitor ambient temperature, refrigeration, humidity, water leaks, return/supply air temperature, CO2, and occupancy. However, Mysa HQ only gives you direct control over your heating, cooling, and lighting through the Mysa Zen thermostat and 5-Zone Lighting Controller. 

What’s the difference between Mysa HQ and your other smart thermostats?

Mysa HQ is an energy management system that uses the Mysa Zen smart thermostat, a range of wireless sensors, and a web dashboard to offer centralized commercial energy management. The Mysa HQ web dashboard is designed specifically to manage energy across hundreds or even thousands of locations across multiple cities and regions from one account, whereas the residential Mysa app is designed to manage just 1-2 homes per account. Mysa HQ is not currently compatible with high-voltage HVAC systems. 

Does Mysa HQ integrate with facilities management software, like CMMS, EAM, or BAS?

At this time, Mysa HQ does not automatically integrate with other types of facilities management software. However, we understand how valuable this integration is to many of our customers. If there is a specific software you use that you’d like us to integrate with, please let us know and we’ll see what’s possible!

Do you offer pilots or trials?

We understand how critical it is for you to experience the benefits of Mysa HQ before committing long-term, and want you to feel good about your investment. For this reason, we offer managed 60- or 90-day Pilot programs (depending on the number of locations you include in the trial) at a reduced cost.

Are there financial rebates or incentives available for Mysa HQ?

Mysa HQ is ENERGY STAR certified, and therefore qualifies for many rebates and incentives offered by utility companies across the United States and Canada.
